Nothing Gold Can Stay - Robert Frost

Like many people I was first introduced to Nothing Gold Can Stay when we read The Outsiders in English class. I didn’t realize when I first read it that it was one of Robert Frost’s works. But is also makes sense, so many of his shorter poems are elegant in their simplicity but increase in depth every time they are read. One of the reasons that I love short and simple pomes is that they stay with you. Even years after having first read it, I can run through it in my head, enjoying the lyricisem and muse over the meaning, where ever I am and whatever I’m doing.
