The Bridge Builder - W. Dromgoole

BridgeBuilder.png

The Bridge Builder has long been a favourite of mine. I like how clearly I can picture the scene as it is described, but at the same time there is so much philosophical depth in three verses. Of course, like many of the poems I love to read over and over again, I find it inspiring. I can read it and think that this is how one should aspire to live their lives: leaving things behind that will ease the way of others.
