Not Only Day - A Poem

NotOnlyDay.png

I’m a bit nostalgic for romantic stories after my blog post on the Wind and Window Flower by Robert Frost. I don’t have a tendency to write romantic poems, but Not Only Day inspired (or was inspired by - it’s hard to keep track of which one came first) an epic love story. I started writing Sun and Moon as a National Novel Writing Month project. It stalled after the 50,000 words were reached because of all the other projects on the go but I plan to return to it. It’s about the legacy of missing aboriginal women, magic that stretches back to the creation of the earth, and two lovers held separate by their own nature.

Hopefully, it will make it out to the world, but in the meantime I hope you enjoy the poem.
